About Madeline Naylor
After graduating from Sewanee: The University of the South in 2020 and having a nice, long lockdown to mull over what she wanted to do with her life, Madeline Naylor decided to revisit her love of performing, and moved to New York City in 2022, where she is currently based. Madeline made her stage debut in Stag & Lion Theatre Company’s 2023 production of The Beaux’ Stratagem playing a lead role, and has several short film credits.
An avowed linguaphile, Madeline was a French and Russian double major in college, and is always on the lookout for opportunities to merge her interests in acting and languages. She has also trained as a classical pianist and ballet dancer for 15+ years.
In addition to acting, Madeline is presently working on getting her Master’s in Russian Translation and Interpretation at Hunter College. When left to her own devices, she can be found ordering lemon meringue pie at diners, planning trips she’ll probably never have time to take, or on the Lower East Side catching old flicks at Metrograph.
